Some personal notables: Kid Icarus: Uprising is looking better everytime I see it; I wanted Paper Mario after seeing this; Not sure if Shinrei Camera is a proper Fatal Frame-related game, but it looks amazing, regardless. Check them out!
Where’s Kid Icarus Uprising?
Wasn’t that one of the first games shown to show off the 3DS? Turns out, Nintendo didn’t forget, but not by much. It’s still in development but won’t be seen until 2012. All of you hoping it would be out by the holidays, keep saving your pennies. I know I sure will.

Mario Tennis is coming to the 3DS
Here’s even more 3DS-related news as Nintendo has announced a new Mario Tennis title coming to the 3DS.
The game will feature a gyro play mode and will be available on the 3DS sometime in 2012.
Now you get to feel like balls are flying every which way at you in 3-D! Hooray!
New Nintendo 3DS Colour Launching in Japan
The newest colour that will be joining the Nintendo 3DS family will be “Misty Pink”. It will be available in Japan starting October 20. No other releases were announced.

Ocarina of Time 3D Sells Nearly 300,000 Units After One Month
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will be finishing off the month as the #2 best-selling video game on an individual platform with more than 283,000 units sold, according to the independent NPD group.
Other notable Nintendo highlights include:
- Sold more than 800,000 combined hardware units in June. This includes 360,000 units from the Nintendo DS family, 273,000 Wii systems, and 143,000 Nintendo 3DS systems. Each product line saw double-digit growth over the previous month, and the lifetime U.S. installed base for the Wii system crossed 36 million units.
- Five of the top 10 and 13 of the top 25 best-selling individual software titles play on Nintendo platforms.
You go, Nintendo!

3DS Info Explosion!
The folks over at Kotaku have revealed a mountain of new details for the very anticipated 3DS, the first handheld gaming device to allow you to play games in 3D without the use of glasses. Not only is the general public excited, but all the big developers have games lined up to be produced for it. In this video you’ll see more than just a few of your favorite games with graphical makeovers.
The release date has been revealed to be February 26, 2011. The bad news is that, at launch, the 3DS will cost around $300!
